The bits and pieces that keep classes, parties and workshops running smoothly.

1. Bookings & payment
Places in weekly classes, parties, workshops and 1-1 lessons are confirmed once payment has been received in full. Block bookings are payable in advance and cover a fixed number of sessions within a half-term or term.
Prices are listed on the relevant class or service page and may be updated from time to time. The price quoted at the point of booking is the price that applies to that booking.
2. Cancellations & refunds
If you are unable to attend a class, please notify us as soon as possible. Block bookings are non-refundable once the term has commenced. However, where reasonably possible, we will offer one make-up session at an alternative class within the same term, subject to availability. Make-up sessions must be attended within the term in which the missed class occurred and cannot be carried forward to future terms. If you are unable to attend the offered make-up session, the missed class will be forfeited. To ensure fairness for all families and to manage class capacities effectively, a maximum of one make-up session may be offered per child during any single term or block of classes.
Parties and workshops require a non-refundable deposit at the point of booking. The remaining balance is due in advance of the event. If Miss Lottie cancels a session, party or workshop, a full refund or alternative date will be offered.
3. Safeguarding
The safety, wellbeing, and protection of every child attending our sessions is of the utmost importance. Miss Lottie is committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment where children can learn, play, and express themselves with confidence. All activities are delivered with the welfare of children at the forefront, and any safeguarding concerns will be taken seriously and dealt with appropriately, in line with current safeguarding guidance and procedures. We work in partnership with parents and carers to ensure that every child feels safe, respected, and valued throughout their time with us.
4. Social media / photo permissions
When booking through Happity, you will be asked to complete a consent tick box indicating whether you are happy for your child to appear on our social media channels. If consent is not given, Miss Lottie will ensure your child's identity is protected by either covering their face in any photos or videos, or by only capturing them from behind so that no personal identifying features are visible.
To help everyone remain fully engaged in the session and to respect the privacy of other families, we ask that mobile phones are not used during class time. If there is a special moment you would like to capture, please speak to Miss Lottie. She will either arrange for a photo to be taken after the session has finished or seek permission from the other families present before allowing photographs to be taken during the class.
5. Behaviour
Miss Lottie is committed to providing a welcoming, respectful, and inclusive environment for all attendees. Disrespectful, inappropriate, or unacceptable behaviour towards Miss Lottie, children, parents, carers, or any other person attending the class will not be tolerated.
If you have any concerns or issues, please raise them with Miss Lottie after the session. All matters will be addressed professionally, respectfully, and in confidence where appropriate.
6. Health and safety
Children must be accompanied by a parent, carer or other responsible adult at all times during weekly classes and parties unless otherwise agreed in writing. The accompanying adult is responsible for the child's behaviour, supervision and welfare throughout the session.
The health and safety of all children, parents, carers, and staff is a priority at all times. Miss Lottie is committed to providing a safe and secure environment for every session, ensuring that all equipment, instruments, and props are suitable for use and regularly checked for safety. Activities are planned with children's ages and abilities in mind, and appropriate measures are taken to minimise risks.
Parents and carers are encouraged to inform Miss Lottie of any relevant medical conditions, allergies, or additional needs to help ensure the wellbeing of every child. In the event of an accident or emergency, appropriate procedures will be followed, and emergency contact information will be used where necessary.
7. Hygiene and cleanliness
The health and wellbeing of all children and families attending the sessions is a priority. Miss Lottie follows strict hygiene practices, cleaning and sanitising all instruments after every session and regularly washing and disinfecting props and equipment. These measures help to minimise the spread of germs and ensure a safe, clean environment for all participants.
8. Equality, diversity and inclusion
Miss Lottie is committed to creating a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive environment for all children, parents, carers, and families. Everyone is treated with dignity, respect, and kindness, regardless of age, race, ethnicity, religion or belief, disability, gender, sexual orientation, family structure, or background.
We celebrate diversity and believe that every family should feel valued, accepted, and able to participate fully in our sessions. Any form of discrimination, bullying, harassment, or exclusionary behaviour will not be tolerated. Our aim is to provide a safe and positive space where everyone feels comfortable, respected, and included.
9. Liability
Miss Lottie holds public liability insurance. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for any other liability that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, Miss Lottie is not liable for loss or damage to personal belongings brought to a session.
10. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. The version published on this page at the time of your booking is the version that applies to that booking.
